Compose

Compose is a storytelling incubator for women and nonbinary people of color to rest and create.

As "a production company for creative activism by and for women of color," we recognize the need for intentional space to empower, equip and enable voices of change, particularly voices that are systematically silenced and siloed. Our stories hold a deep transformational power; a power we believe must be nurtured & developed in communal space.
We host Compose with the intention of creating that communal space among women and non-binary people of color.
Our Compose retreat is a weekend experience held annually. It is a 3-day long, all expenses paid retreat that balances a mix of solo writing time, peer connection, and mentorship with writing experts.

Rebel + Rest

REBEL + REST is committed to helping protect the humanity, value and joy of Blackness that the world denies us through the lie of racism.

REBEL + REST is committed to helping protect the humanity, value and joy of Blackness that the world denies us through the lie of racism. We do this by creating carefully curated spaces that encourage Black social activists to rest, rejuvenate and restore.
REBEL+REST is a thoughtfully curated, evergreen program at Rosa Rebellion. We offer workshops, community conversations, healing practices and an all-expense paid retreat for social activists and advocates to rest, restore, rejuvenate and replenish. This experience provides space for intentional time to turn off, only take responsibility for yourself, exhale and commune with like minded people.

The /whiteboard/

The /whiteboard/ launched in 2021 to call-in white women to be co-agitators and co-laborers in their spheres of influence to learn, unlearn, listen, and build intention around their contributions to the work of racial justice and equity.

Rosa Rebellion has designed a virtual space that offers tools for disrupting the historic and contemporary performance of white-centric feminism and gender equity, that often ignores and erases the voices and labor of women of color.
Our cohorts have equipped women working in highly visible spaces to create measurable impact and invest in elevating voices of color by ceding privilege, position and power to spur sustained racial justice.
The /whiteboard/ includes committed voices working in leadership in the spheres of media, technology, sports, entertainment, health, law and faith.
The /whiteboard/ is annual cohort dedicated to education and action. Participants join quarterly workshops, receive dedicated reading lists, and commit financial resources to the Rebel Fund.
The /whiteboard/ is year-long experience with a required contribution to the Rebel Fund. Applications are required. Information will be announced on our Instagram and through our newsletter.
